Last week in the class PETA we learnt about method of learning, two of them are about multiple intelligence (MT) and bloom’s taxonomy (BT). There are 2 kind of method in learning that very useful for the teacher in the process teaching and learning. The teacher can make process in learning using multiple or bloom’s taxonomy.
In the class we learnt to make process in
learning using MT or (BT), some of us chose MT in the process learning and the
other chose BT. I think both of them are not easy because in the method MT, the
teacher has to make all of kind of MT or kind of MT that he/she use appropriate
with the student style in learning. This is not easy because we have to
understand the characteristic of students and know her/his habitual in
learning. The way need more time for the teacher to prepare the material, but
it can make students happy and interest to learn because the method appropriate
with he/she.
In the method Bloom’s Taxonomy when I and
my friend try to make lesson using that, I think it is not easy too. Because of
step of the method is hard to make it in the lesson. We are not accustomed to
make it, but in the BT the teacher only make one exercise for all students and
to solve it the students start from the low level to higher level. For the student that have higher order
thinking maybe can solve all of the question, but for the student that have
lower order thinking maybe only solve half of the question. In this method the teacher
make many question for all students, but to get score the teacher only took from
the last question that the objective in the lesson, not all of the question because in the hard
question that for the students who have higher order thinking did not disturb his/her
friend.
I remember that I have learn using
multiple intelligence, but the teacher only use one from eight of MT. in the
second meeting the teacher using the other kind of MT, but only one kind of
that. I think the way is not appropriate for the student because the students
have different characteristic in learning and the teacher only uses one type in
MT. If the teacher only use the same method that’s make students boring in the
class, so I think if the teacher difficult to make all of the kind MT in
teaching or appropriate with the student, he can use bloom’s taxonomy to be
easier.

ReplyDeleteI do agree with your last statement "if the teacher difficult to make all of the kind MT in teaching or appropriate with the student, he can use bloom’s taxonomy to be easier" because last week most of our friends used MI for a project, not for one meeting, so do you have any idea to implement MI for one meeting teaching??? :D
