Wirman’s Third Reflection
         Last week was the third meeting of PETA class. I learned about models of instructions. They were direct instruction, guided discovery, lecturer discussion, and group interaction. From that material, I just realized that teachers has to have many strategies in learning process and knowing any model instructions. Model instructions can be good strategies for teacher because it let students being active in the class. They can explore their self to do the learning process, but it does not mean without guided from teachers.

         If I may talk about my teachers when I was in school, many teachers who just used direct instructions in every single time. We had to listen all about what they have said. We had to make notes everything from what they have said. I do not know that they knew about model instructions or not, but when i was as their students, they just lecture me in front of the class. In Peta class last week, I learned that in model instructions, not only direct discussion but there are also guided discovery, lecturer discussion, and group work discussion. 
         Instead of that, many teachers who tried to do any model instructions. They made group work from us, they let students do guided discovery, etc. It was good, but I just realized that they gave us wrong model instructions. They made group work from us and let us did guided discovery but they just let us did the process learning without their guided. They did not even give us the conclusion of the material itself. We just did group work discussion, guided discovery and we truly did the learning process by our own learning. Actually, as a student, I know that I have to be active but it does not mean teacher do not have to guide me.
          As a new generation, I know that I have to know about this model instructions. I have to know how to apply it into the classroom. I have to know good strategies fro my students. My students has to be active but does not mean I do not have to guide them. So, I have to make fun learning that can make them active but I still have to guide them
