Why is it must be Rambutan?

PETA’s class in last week give a inspiration and motivation for me. We have watched video about the teaching and learning in elementary school. Wow, that is great video. Do you agree with me, Guys? Yeah, we get many experience about that. I am very interesting about that’s video. Okay, in here, I want to review our video last class.

            
        Do you remember about the class discuss in movie? Yups, it is about tematics lesson in elementary school. They learned about family members, colour, and number of something. The teacher give a general topic about rambutan fruit. What do you think about the teacher used rambutan fruit as teaching tools? Okay, we discuss that. In my opinion, the teacher used rambutan fruit because three possibility, they are:
Firstly, they are easy to find rambutan fruit. May be, the teacher has thought that most students have rambutan trees in their home. We can find it in video. When the teacher asked the students about their rambutan trees, students were raising their hand. So, the teacher is also easier to associate rambutan with their family. They are remembering their members of family, when the teacher asked “Siapa yang biasanya membersihkan sampah pohon rambutan di rumah?”. They answered, “Kakak Bu... /Ibu Bu... /Ayah Bu...” It is not direct that students to name their family members. You get it?
Secondly, rambutan fruit have more than two colors of fruit. Do you know? They are young rambutan fruit is green, half-baked rambutan fruit is yellow, and ripe rambutan is red. So I think that is easier to used than other fruit. It is also more variety colors.
Thirdly, they are easy to find rambutan. They do not need to buy so can take only as needed. They are easy to acount rambutan because it has small fruit. Easy and cheap, I think.
And I think that is a fun method of teaching methods. I interest about the outdoor learning. It can make students are not bored in indoor class. But the teacher must make a good management of teaching and learning session. We make a creative method. If we review the movie, we get some methods about her teching and learning, Right? The teacher used: open question, give reward, sing a song, observation in real life, make a story. I think that the teacher’s preparation is good. She prepare a reward, a song, a story, a rambutan tree, and topic of lesson. That is great. Do you agree with me?
But in this methods, I disagree with her assessment because the assessment cannot assess all student clearly. We can see, when the teacher gives question in group discussion, she only advise one student. For example, “Baik, Siti coba hitung berapa rambutan kelompokmu.” It’s not good because other students might also want to answer. It not only “Si Siti” but also other students. Hehe JJJJJJ
In this methods, I also disagree with story telling because it is monotonous. We can see in movie, students are sleepy, boring, etc. May be, it hapened because teacher’s intonation of voice that isnot interesting. But all of methods are great methods. I like that.
In conclusion, Okay Guys, we are teacher candidate, we must make a different generation of teacher, Right? We must do something is better than yesterday. We can do it. We are creative human. Do the best Guys... JJJJJJ

  1. Hemm I agree about rambutan has different color when it was still green, and then yellow, and then red, and finally black. Do you have any idea about a fruit that has similarity with rambutan (the change of the color) ??? I'm thinking baout that. hahha

  3. Oke guys.... hahhaha... "Siti... Siti... n Siti again...." that is very subjectif....

    We give objective assessment... Wirman...

    I think, we use other fruit, we must know about colors and easy or not when we want to find that...
