Differentiated




On Monday, November, 21 2011 I was learning about differentiated. The first activity is the lecturer asked my classmates and me to jot down any names that could be defined as a successful person as many as we can in 1 minute. It was really fun. I was shocked when Dasrizal could write 34 person in 2 minute. And it made he became the champion. I have difficulty to write my version of the successful person. From this activity, I can reflect that the first thing that I have to know is “what is the successful person?” “how the characteristics of successful person?” when I have known about that, I can write the person who have the characters, which I have already been defined.
The second activity is the lecturer asked my classmates and me to work in pairs and construct the activity that can provide all of intelligences in class. It was really enjoyable activity. Wirman and I constucted the activity based on bloom taxonomy. Actually we got confused when we want to construct the activity based on bloom taxonomy, it is because the topic made us think creatively to construct it. From this activity, I can reflect that be real mathematics teacher is difficult. The teachers should have creatively thinking. It is because the teacher should provide activity for all of intelligences, even mathematics subject is identic with logical inteligence.
From this activity, I should  concern about my students’ intelligences. But until now, I don’t get the way to know the students’ intelligence. Should I give them some questions that the questions is related with intelligences? And how to manage all of intelligences in the class? Should I make a group from each intelligence?
Is there anyone want to share your opinion to answer my questions?
