Wirman's Fifth Reflection

I am back!!! :)

Now, I am going to tell you about my reflection PETA class in week 7!

Week 7?

Have I told you about my reflection in week 5 and 6? 

Yes, I have! 

I have told it all in PETA class week 7 :)

          Being teacher's assisstant for two weeks make me get wonderful experiences that other students in another campus can not get :)

I have learned about the theories and learning methods in SSE for 3 semesters. In school experience, I had to have school experience at Asisi Senior High school. I had to apply what I have got in class to that school. Actually, I applied the theories and learning methods that I have learned in campus to that school. I made a lesson plan to make students in that school being active in class. It was not really so hard because that school has small class which consist of about 20’s students in each class. I asked them to watch movie about the material, I made them into group to solve the problems, and I gave them Round Robin, etc. It has proven that it made them being active in the class.

       After that, in PETA class week 7, all of students told about what they have got in school experience. Actually, I want to share so many things about it but there was one thing that make me interested. There were so many my friends said that it was so hard to make students being active in the class. They said that it was so hard to make BIG CLASS that consist of about 40’s students being active in class. They said that it was so hard to make them want to work in a group. I have taught students too but it was not really so hard because I taught small classes. Now I just realized that not all of class or not all of students can be taught with the same methods. Understanding about our students and about the class that we want to teach are the most important thing for us as a teacher. It means when we made a lesson plan, it should be made based on the class that we want to teach. We have to know that they like to be in a group or individual work.We have to give them various methods that can make them familiar with what they have not got yet.

      I have to be ready when I have to teach a big class because I have taught small class in school experience. The reflections from my friends are so important things for me to be better than before. Thank you fellas J
