“Good Attitude is Important”
Last week in PETA lesson, we shared about our experience when we did team teaching. Almost all of my friends said that School Experience in this semester was unforgettable moment. I agree with them. Three weeks ago, I could not imagine how nervous I am in front of my students. However, the reality was different. I could manage my nervous well. The real class was so different with the theory. I had to creative to choose which theory that I will use. It is depends on the condition and situation.
For me, Teaching and Learning process is not about give all material of our subject to students. That all about everything we do in school. Based on my experience, I heard my teacher said that their students stupid and always said lie that during the class. He never thinks about students’ feeling. I also had an experience that my teacher smoked in front of my classroom whereas none of teacher, staff and students allowed to smoke in our school. There are special room to smoke for teachers and staff. However, my teacher smoked in front of his students. He could not be a good role model for his students. I know that my teacher who smoked in front of his students is very good when he teach his students but I did not like his attitude.
When I did school experience, I saw teacher candidate (not from SSE) did the bad attitude. She asked students to put her helm in library, she asked students to buy some food for her whereas the lesson had begun and she always said impolite words in school (gue, loe). I thought teacher should have good attitude, at least if they are in school. As we know that teacher is a role model and artists for all of students. As teacher candidate, I think that I have to be careful to do anything in this world. I have to control my attitude. I want to be good artist and role model for my students.
Become a teacher is not easy. I very agree with this statement. We have to be creative and wise in everything. I think I can call someone as professional teacher if they have good attitude, diligent, smart and understanding their students. J J J

Ya Woro I agree with you, we have to be a good behavior for my students because they will do that they see.We have to be a good example for our students in communication to other or behavior properly and politely. A student will be obedient to his teacher who also has good manners.
ReplyDeleteYes Woro, I my experience in last semester show me the same thing with you, teacher candidates from another school show me not good behavior, they hit the students. Teacher is an example for students hence we have to show the best thing in our self such as behavior.
