“Its are open my mind, wow!!”

Formative and summative assessments are two sides of assessment and I got new understanding from this sides.

“Why?”
I am aware thats paper and pencil test, presentation, role play, and all of we have done in our lesson as the new assessment that asses our cognitive, affective and psychomotor. But, I don’t know how important all of these assessments besides make various methods and made students not bored.

Here I know how important assessment after study assessment as, for and of learning. The important think that I get, in teaching and learning we just not deliver what we have to our student like lecturing. We must open our mind that our students it is really understand with what we have delivered?
 And “How to know our students understand?”
“By assessment” From assessment, we know the presentation of students understanding. From this result we must reflect and make various methods to deliver our materials so the understanding of our students increase. We can use many of assessment that we have done learn before.

And then, I got that in making of a lesson plan we just not make fun and different an activity so our students not bored. But we must known the methods that can implement to these topics. Its have connection with assessment. Formative assessment may be is brilliant component here (summative also). If we look at formative assessment, we got the various ways to assess student can be parts of activity.

My experience in class, I just enjoy the lessons. But I do not conscious that beside I learn a new topic, my lectures also assess me. We can look at group discussion. For example we got some topic like in PETA the last session. We must discuss about assessment tools. We went to library and search information. If we precise and analyze Mom Mima asses our group discussion. We learned and get new knowledge, the other side Mom Mima guide us to understand and get the assess. Its really efficient and effective!!

As teacher we must be very creative. Lets use models and various methods to deliver materials and make our student UNDERSTAND.
