In fact, many research and article
said that a rubric is very useful. Using the rubrics teacher can more objective
give score to students and the students can better make assignment and know the
way to get good score. So the rubrics like as guide to help students to get
good score. The rubrics not only for assess group students but also can assess individually
students.
We can use
rubric in math too. Such as, we make rubric for test. In this case, the rubric is only for
teacher to assess students test. We write every each step has point, how many
step, and so on. Although when test the students use different way, but the
teachers should have guide to make fair or objective assess.
Rubric is useful. So, why many teachers
didn’t used rubrics when assess students? Because making rubrics is not easy. Actually not only not easy, but some teacher thought without rubrics she or he can give
students score or assess. Some teacher didn’t thought that score is fair or
not, objective or subjective. Whereas teachers should fair and objective to
give score or assess their students.
So, we are the next generation of
teacher should give our students fair and objective assess. One way to get that

Good Issue..I like that, But rubric requires teachers to provide an objective assessment to students, but to assess the students I think, not only in their work produced but also the process of their learning ( learning Experienced). because in learning experienced Teacher can see how the students learning process to understand the material that teacher deliver in class. in example when students discussion with fair or when presentation. teacher can assess students in their learning process. ReplyDeleteRubric is one of many way to assess students. My teacher said that assessing students is teacher's prerogative. I agree with that statement but also depends on every students understanding and capability. I think rubric is one way to make the assessment become easier and clear. Nice Issue ^^

ReplyDeletewhen I was in senior high school I always think that my teacher assess my assignment subjectively moreover of I was in the same class with my teacher's daughter, she always get the best score it turns out she is my team member, I have a negative thinking because I don't know the rubric so guys as the educator we have to make rubric clearly :)

Read what Bu Mima write? sometimes in creating a rubric there is subjectively too but agree with this issue that rubric can make the teachers more objective in assess the students than did not make a rubric

In my opinion, rubrics are very useful as a tool for assessing students' work because with the rubrics can make an assessment becomes more objective and minimize judgments are subjective.
Absolutely useful in suitable condition. Nice issue. This group is talking about how rubrics work for assessment. However, sometimes using rubric can be subjective "when" the characteristics inside are not "suitable". is there any perception with that statement? thank you guys ^^v

waw. i like ou opinion. it is great, for make better perception about how we make good rubrics. in fact many rubric only use for the result assignment, not how the process. so we are the new generation of teacher, should make good assessment for our students ^_^
