well, I have no idea to write the reflection this week, actually. the activity in this week is only review (i think), and then I did indipendence study to develop my lesson plan with my partner.
Because of I didn't attend the class 2 weeks ago, I know nothing about making a rubric. one thing that I got is I realized that making a rubric is not as simple as I think before. start from determine criteria, create a range of score, and the most difficult is write the words in each score range. beside that we have to be very objective in making a rubric. the other thing that I am thinking of is, can I assess students based on the rubric that I've made objectively? I think I cannot because I still think that subjectivity is still needed in assess students.
I think thats all that can I write in this reflection. hope i don't face the difficulty when I make a rubric with my partner for preparing the microteaching.
Good reflection but I think subjectivity is not good in assessment because teacher have to fair with the students so self-esteem of students will not be decrease because they feel their teacher is subjective person.
