Last meeting in the PETA class,
my group and I were asked to evaluate our rubric that we made before. My group’
rubric was working as well, but some of rubrics that my friends made didn’t work
as well. It is because some of categories of that rubrics can not apply. I learned
that not all of rubric can not apply as well.
From last meeting, I have known
that the categories of rubric should be general and explained clearly. For
example, the category is opening. Opening should be explained clearly such as it
should explains the learning objectives, it should grabs the students’ attention
etc. It is because there are many things that should be assessed and the rubric
maker should explain what they want to assess, so it has to be clear. The important
thing, the rubric should be informed first before use. And then also, the rubric
should have validity instrument, it can be valid if the students understand
what the rubric means.
