Is It Only a Formalization?
Lesson Plan—Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran—is a thing that
should be a guidance for teacher to deliver materials in the classroom.
However, teachers’ recognition about the importance of lesson plan is low. From
the School Experience program this semester, we found that most of teacher only
create lesson plan as formalization to government for a whole year. The aim of
this lesson plan creation is a tool for accreditation.
It is a bit different with what we experience in campus. We—as
candidate of teacher—recognize that lesson plan is a thing that we need to set
up all the activities in the classroom. We don’t think that lesson plan is form
of formalization because we understand what the purpose of lesson plan is.
Seeing this phenomenon makes us reflect to ourselves. When we’re
becoming a teacher, we don’t want to make lesson plan as formalization, but it is
our guidance to teach in the classroom. It is a guidance to reach the objective
of the lesson. However, we can’t break the government rules easily. So, what do
you think about this?

Great guys :)
ReplyDeleteMy master teacher said that she made lesson plans for a whole year only in 2 weeks (provided by the government), that's the hard things actually. However, if we have to do that, how if me make the 2nd lesson plan? I mean another lesson plan for teaching that we make a few days before teaching? So, just flexibel. What do you think guys? :D
well, i think it is based on the teacher's needs, because i saw some of senior teacher in my highschool can teach effectively without make a lesson plan. i think before we teach in the classroom, we have to have a plan what and how we will teach in the class. it doesn't mean 'lesson plan' with detail activity in the standard form, but a plan generaly to make us easier to teach.
Deletethis is my team isu :)
DeleteI agree with you mamet, maybe we have to make lesson plan twice, first for the government and the second for our self in daily teaching activity :)
