Haryo ganteng's 2nd reflection

   Well, it was second meeting in PETA class. What have we learnt in this session? So many things. Firsly, we watched a movie, then we discussed and reflected it together. Well, it was very simple movie but very meaningful for us as a teacher candidate.

   Something that we learnt from the movie is how the teacher teach her students. She taught systematically. How could she teach like that? Of course because she already prepared the lesson plan before. By using lesson plan we can determine what students should achive, what will we do, what will students do, how to manage the time in the class, how to assess students, and what are the indicators that indicated students have achieved the learning objectives.

   That movie showed us that the teacher explained the learning objectives in the opening session. Afterward, she instructed the students to do some effective activites such as group discussion, and field observation. However, the way to assesss was ineffective because the teacher only assses some students, and I think those students didn’t represent the whole students.

   Then, how was the learning prosess in PETA class? As usual, it was very fun. I don’t know why I feel so passionate in PETA class. This is the only course that doesn’t make me sleepy. Hopefully I learn more in the next meeting.
