Is this a reflection (3)?

Third week of PETA, this is cool. Last week we learnt about instruction. There are several instructions which can be used when we’re becoming a teacher. Even though there are some, we can combine each other. It all depends on the objective of the teaching and learning.
Well, here I want to share my experience which is related to this topic. When I was on the second grade of senior high school, I had a Math teacher. His system was to make group of four or five person for each group. The system was quite interesting. The system was to create students to be active in teaching and learning, so that students can find our own discoveries. But what happened then? We—as students were so confused. Why?
Now I know the teacher was going to apply the Guided Discovery instruction. However, by this instruction, teacher needs to guide the students for the things those are needed to be discovered. In my experience, the teacher left us alone and asked us to discover and study the Math formula. It was so hard, wasn’t it? After asking us to discover by our own self, he gave us TGT. Each group had to compete each other to answer several questions given. Oh, God!
Well, it was my experience. The reflection is here. To apply an instruction in our classroom, as a teacher, we have to know the objective of the lesson, and then we choose which model can be implemented on that lesson. Otherwise, we need to really understand what the role of the teacher. Should teacher give lecturing only, be a guide for students to discovery things, or be facilitator for students to think critically. By doing this, I, personally, argue that a teacher will be applying a model well, and students are able to know knowledge by their own mind.
