Multiple Intelligence: More Varied of Assessments



PETA class last week reminded me when I was in high school for several years ago. How I was treated a little differently from the others when I was in eleven and twelve grade for some subjects especially for sciences. Now I know why my teachers treat like that. teachers always give the best for their students.

When someone asked me what kind of assessment model will I use when teaching later, I would choose the model of Multiple Intelligence assessment. Why is that, because I think, when we use the Multiple Intelligence, it was the same expression we allow them to match what they could. But if we use Bloom's Taxonomy, in my opinion it is better to measure the extent where a child's ability only.

Multiple Intelligence assessment, will result in more varied types of tasks and explore the creativity of a child in comparison with the bloom taxonomy which only measures what extent a child's ability.

This is my opinion, what about you?

  1. i agree with you, but i think we can mixes bloom taxonomy with multiple intelligences, it more better may be depend condition and situation. but my question if you choose MI, how you teach students with different intelligences in the same time?
