3 Aspects; Cognitive,
Affective and Psychomotoric
On Monday, December 12,
2011 I have learned about assessment. From the discussion, I thought that there
are many ways to assess the students. It is because teacher should have the
purposing of assessment, what is expected of that assessment.
In the school, there are 3
aspects that should be assessed that is cognitive, psychomotoric, and affective.
From this condition, I could reflect that the teacher should use combination of
assessment styles to assess the 3 aspects. For cognitive, the teacher could use
paper and pencil test to measure the students’ knowledge. The teachers also can
use portfolio to measure this aspects. For psychomotoric, the teacher could use
performance assessments such as drama or presentation to assess the
psychomotoric of students. And then, to assess the affective of students, the
teachers should spend time to observe the students’ atitude during the class.
The assessment of affective aspect is on going process. This aspects can be consideration
of the teacher to give score to the students.

Nice reflection... ^^
ReplyDeleteNice Dian, thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI just wanna know your opinion, we know that affective and psichomotoric needs to be assessed and is needed to be reported to the parents, also for our notes about students' progression, but can you give me another reason about the importance of "affective and psichomotoric assessments" ?
