Assesment, one of parts lesson plan that I fell so difficult
to implement.
Why is difficult?
When we make a lesson plan we also include the
assessment part. In convensional teachers side, we know that assessment just
for get score from students. And usually final exam or paper and pencil test is
exactly one way to get this score.
But, after we learn assesment in learning we got the
advantages of assesment for 3 sides. One of them is assesment as learning.
Here, assesment use by teacher as part of learning process. The activity for
example students make an reflection for their lessons. Can be individually or
in peers. And from this reflection, we can look that students assess by them
selves. Its different with assess student from paper and pencil test in above.
Where the teachers just assessed and the students not know. By this way,
students make a product. Its can be poster, paper reflection or anything. Students
also can reflect what must they do for the next lessons, what must be corrected
and what the levels they got by them selves.
Actually I love very much reflection activity. Its need awarness from the deep of our heart.
And the second is assessment for learning and then assessment of learning. If all of this component add in our assesment, may be our students can be true learners.
So, they will think must be better, must be better!!!
