Last session of PETA class was confusing for
me. Really was.
Wondering why? Because, it was all about
assessment. I really had no idea what kind of materials that would be delivered
every PETA class. And I was a bit surprised about what would I learned last
week. It was all about assessments (thanks God it was not about the
assignments) :)
Assessment is divided into three major parts.
Here is the list.
Assessment of Learning,
Assessment for Learning,
and Assessment as Learning.
Well, those three terms were confusing my
mind through group discussion and also defeating my perception of each meaning
of the terms.
My perception to those three terms was about to whom the assessment would
be addressed to. For the teacher or the students? I think assessment of
learning would be addressed to the teacher, assessment for learning would be
for the students and assessment as learning will be addressed to both teacher
and students. So, that is how I differentiate those terms differently. Please,
tell me if I am wrong.
I also have the same perception with you Putra.
ReplyDeleteI wanna know your perception about "I think assessment of learning would be addressed to the teacher, assessment for learning would be for the students and assessment as learning will be addressed to both teacher and students" what kind of assessment that adressed for the teacher?
let's have a discussion :D
