haryo's reflection

Assessment as learning, for learning, of learning, and whatever. I have not understood deeply yet actually. But, one important thing that I got is we not only can assess students in the end of learning, but also anytime we want. Assessment not merely way to know how deep our students’ understanding, but also as our reflection and students’ reflection.

As teacher reflection, we can know how well our performance in teaching and learning process. It makes me know what are my strengthens, and what are my weaknesses when teaching. I can improve my weak performance in the next time. As students’ reflection, it makes they know how was they learnt. What’s wrong if they got the bad score, and they will know how to make it better. As a teaching, by using assessment, we will know how well students’ score. When our students’ got the bad score, as a teacher, we have to motivate them.  Make they feel that score that they got is only a number, don’t give up, and keep learning.

Last lesson gives me so many new knowledge in assessment. One thing that very valuable is assessment not only way to know students score, but also it has so may function that can influence teachers and students’ performance.

  2. Good reflection haryo,
I agree with your statement "assessment not only way to know the students score, but also it has so may function That can influence teachers and students' performance". I think also that, because the existence of these assessments can improve morale of teachers in teaching, especially to pay attention to and facilitate the needs of students. In addition, with the assessments also provide a positive impact for the student to see and reflect on their deficiencies at the time of learning so that they can be excited to learn more ...
