In
my reflection before, I have said that I got confused to know the differences
assessment of, as, and for learning. At that time, I really needed the
conclusions from Miss Mima. Last week, what I want is explained by Miss Mima. She explained more the differences of that. Now,
I am not confused about the differences like I used to be. I guess my friends
also have understood about the differences of this, have not they? :p
Now,
I do not want to talk about that too much because I have one thing that I want
to talk about. It is about assessment model. In conventional model, teacher make leson plan, teach students,
assess, then they move to the next lesson. But, in standard-based model, different with in conventional model, after
assessing student, teacher should see and check the result. If there are some
students who got low score, it means teacher should think to give them explanation
with another methods that can make them understand. After that, they should
give feedback to students, then teacher can continue to the next lesson.
I do
really agree. Sometimes, many teacher just assess the students and after they
know the result, they still continue to the next lesson without thinking about
the students who still need improvement. It makes me reflect as the next
generation of teacher. I have to be more careful when I want to continue to the
next lesson. I have to check and know whether all of my students have
understood about what I have taught or not. Because if I ignore this, students
will get missundertsanding and they will be so hard to answer the question that
has high level.
If
the problem is the limited of time, I think as a teacher I should provide much
time to meet with students. Ask them whether they have understood or not, ask
them which one that they have not understood yet. By doing this ocnsultation,
students can tell me their weaknesses. Then, I can use another methods that is
really appropriate for students that can make them understanding the concept
easily. I have to Keep Learning! We have to keep learning!
Have a good Lemburan, eh Liburan
guys J
I like your reflection.. don't always make limited time as the problem, the big chance is to decide something I think, Good teacher is who always reflect to their self and always make improvement to improve students ability.
